WELCOME!
to my fan-page for a video game studio that is literally famous for making licensed games. Except their games are pretty damn cool. Sometimes.
For those who somehow don't know about Telltale’s legacy, let me give you a quick rundown:
Telltale Games, is/was a game studio formed in 2004 by ex-LucasArts developers. They're most known for their game design and adaptations of various famous franchises, like Batman, The Walking Dead, and Minecraft, just to name a few.
Telltale's main goal was always to make and tell engaging stories. You could even say they wanted to Tell Tales! Sorry.
Telltale’s early games were often point-and-click puzzle adventures. And poker games where you played with AI that would have conversations with each other. The poker games are obviously not story-based, they’re but still charming nonetheless.
Though Telltale's later, most popular works took on a “choose your own adventure” model. They were much more cinematic and had very simple gameplay that usually consisted of small puzzles, quick-time-events, and many dialogue trees.
The first game that utilized this play-style was Jurassic Park: The Game, but what really revolutionized it was The Walking Dead. Many people consider it to be the worst and best thing to ever happen to Telltale. It defenitely made them more famous than that dog and rabbity-thing could ever make them! sorry again
Unfortunately, the studio had to file for bankruptcy in 2018 due to their last investor pulling out of funding. Rest in peace, we lost a real one.
Since then, the Telltale name has been revived.
But this shrine isn't about new Telltale. Unless they actually make The Wolf Among Us 2. 6/7/2026: Okay so The Wolf
Among Us 2 is coming out. 2027 y'all
I'll give them some credit...
In fact, I'd say this shrine is mostly 2005-2014 Telltale. The later games will be mentioned obviously, but the games I care about came out those years.

TELLTALE ARCHIVES
Here is my humble collection of Telltale related links you may or may not find cool. I certainly find them cool. Most are Wayback machine links.
You can always send stuff that I missed to my guestbook or my email!
also check out the Telltale Archive Project and Old Telltale Stuff
A real image from the Telltale site. I think it's funny.
GDC 2013 panel: "Saving Doug: Empathy, Character, and Choice in The Walking Dead"

Behind the Bad: Episode 1
Strong Bad goes to work at Telltale games.
"Oh- Excuse me. Hey, Strong Bad, we're Telltale Games,
have you ever heard of us?" And at which point I, y'know, hung up the phone.
Behind The Bad: Prototypes
This is unused footage from the Behind The Bad series. You can find this on the SBCG4AP DVD by "fiddling" with the menus.
Strong Bad's devblog
Strong Bad's little blog about working on SBCG4AP. Includes funny games where you can fucking kill the cast of Homestar Runner.

Sam & Max: Save The World bloopers!
Computer Gaming World: The Return of Sam & Max
A video CGW made during a visit to the Telltale offices. Shows early glimpses of Save the World and unused designs! also shows a good look into the Telltale offices,
but that's probably more exciting to me than it is to y'all.
Rivertown Skifflers preform "Good For You (Good For Me)"
Rivertown Skifflers is the band Telltale's composer, Jared Emerson-Johnson is a part of. Sometimes they played songs from Sam & Max!
TWDG Pre-order Contest
Unfortunately, the link in this post doesn't work because there's an age verification page that you're unable to get past (that I know of.)
You can still view the video here and the lucky winners
here.
Batman: The Telltale Series - Behind The Scenes

Apparently they did this? These are kind of fucking creepy
Skunkape's Steam post about
a Sam & Max trivia contest
Okay, so I'm not adding this for the trivia contest. I'm adding this because it talks about Space Ghost. Another huge interest of mine.
You may be thinking: "Guy, what does Space Ghost have to do with Telltale?!" Well, Sam & Max made their video game debut
on Gametap. (which deserves its own tangent) Space Ghost's 10th and 11th seasons were also on Gametap.
Apparently one of those seasons feature an interview between Space Ghost and the then CEO of Telltale.
Telltale had this signed SG poster in their office, too.
I could talk about this all day, but I have other things to link. Just thought that was interesting, I guess.

GUY's GUIDES
Another collection of links! This time it's a collection of various TOOLS!!! And guides for various things!!!
Poker Night 2's gang playing The Walking Dead. I Freaking Love This Trailer!!!
TELLTALE EXPLORERS
You can find a lot of awesome Telltale related softwares at Quick and Easy Software! Really you can do all kinds of neat things with these. Hell, they even work Skunkape and other Telltale tool games!
Here's some softwares I like/use:
Telltale Explorer
The all-in-one Telltale explorer/extractor. Allows you to VIEW, EXTRACT, and CONVERT resources from Telltale games!
Telltale Music Extractor
What it says it on the tin. Uh, just remember to check your file destination,
cause.. a friend of mine didn't do that and his PC almost exploded. Could never be me though, I always read.
Telltale Speech Extractor
Again, pretty obvious what this is. Most useful for me personally because I like to look at the unused lines in The Walking Dead.
Also...
here is a super useful guide
for model swapping in The Walking Dead. Which the Telltale Explorer can be useful for.
DELISTED GAMES
Unfortunately, a lot of stuff by Telltale is no longer available for purchase. Like Strong Bad's Cool Game, Poker Night, Minecraft Story Mode, Bone: Out from Boneville.. like I said a lot.
You can buy it second-hand, whether it be by buying a physical release or uh.. Steam keys or giving someone a bunch of stuff in TF2 so you can get Steam family sharing of the games or something. I dunno honestly.
Anyway, the Internet Archive is a Probably great place to look. I wouldn't know anything about that either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
BLOG
This is like my normal blog, but for Telltale rambles. There's a lot of stuff I wanna talk about that doesn't fit anywhere else.
There aren't any posts right now... When I finally remember what I wanted to talk about, it'll be right here.
