The Blawg. though it isn't very "blog" like.
more of a glorified journal, really. ¯\(°_o)/¯

long time no see. hello every1
this past month has been very overwhelming. i spent most of this month terribly ill with a stomach bug, and then the second i got better i went to Welcome To Rockville.
WTR was my FIRST festival, and my first live music experience in general. i knew what i was coming into- it was gonna be hot, loud, and there was going to be a fuck ton of people.
i did not go all four days, but honestly i'm thankful for that. first 2 days apparently didn't go very well. because on Saturday the day i went the rules changed quite a bit. water was cheaper and you were allowed to leave and re-enter. plus, there was mist fans and free water refills!! (i really only went for Linkin Park and Incubus anyway)
i drew some art to demonstrate my time at WTR. observe
this is about me almost fucking dying.
you may not know this (because when have i ever explicitly said it) but Warning is my favorite Incubus song.
it was weird hearing Warning after Wish You Were Here. that is NOT how Morning View goes. despite that, i was very happy to hear it.
LINKIN PARK. the other person in this drawing is my Good Pal Random. you may know them from the hit Website Haunt-Culture.
they came along and saw my two favorite bands ever with me ^_^
that's basically all i have to say. saw some cool bands, almost died. had a good time.
by the way, you can expect some site updates again. if it wasn't apparent by my Status.cafe and my about page, i found a new "aesthetic" for BloodGulch. that includes a new button too, so get ready to change it. sorry to all of the people who have been adding my button to their site recently.

today (techically yesterday at the time of writing this) i found an original xbox in my garage!!!
this was a pretty random find, but my garage is full of all kinds of random things. i just saw it sitting on a shelf! since i was too scared to walk over there, i made my mom go over and get it.
it was really dusty, obviously. so i took it inside and cleaned the poor thing like it was some stray dog. because it is! who would leave an xbox all alone in a hot garage like that ?
anyway, it was time to see if it WORKED! i plugged it in, and to my surprise it did! ...sort of?
it was good to see the disc tray still worked, because it opened immediately!!! and The Xbox Demon you will soon learn why i call it that gave me a little gift. a Halo: Combat Evolved disc. i already have two of these but it's always nice to have another.
i also noticed it's fan was really loud. weird, but i'm not surprised.
i thought that'd be all the noise it'd make... until:
What The Actual Fuck. i have never heard anything make that noise Ever.
that was scary... but i continued on.
the first time i turned it on, i didn't do with the AV cables plugged in. so, i did it again. with the cables. and i got greeted by a lovely error message:
Your Xbox requires service. Please Xbox Call Customer Support.
... damn.
it showed "Error 07", which is an HDD error. that explains the weird noises... it's fixable, i think, but i'm not the best at this sort of stuff. i'm going to try and learn anyway. i need this xbox to work!!!
it may be broken, but i'm glad to have it join my xbox roster. he's a bit of an outcast, considering all of my other xboxes are "s" or "slim." i love him the same regardless.
he's not dead dead, but like...
